Arjun Rampal (born 26 November 1972), is an Indian film actor, producer, model and a television host. He works for Bollywood movies. He made his acting debut in Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001). The film was not a success but Rampal was appreciated for his performance and received several awards for his work in the movie including a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Rampal's early career was a string of consecutive lead role films that were failures at the box office with some of them being Dil Ka Rishta (2003), Asambhav (2004) and Yakeen (2005). Rampal got his breakthrough role in Don - The Chase Begins Again (2006). Rampal's well-known films include Aankhen (2002), Om Shanti Om (2007), Rock On!! (2008), Raajneeti (2010), Ra.One (2011) and Chakravyuh (2012). He started his career with a reputation of romantic hero by acting in romantic movies such as Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001), Deewaanapan (2001), Dil Hai Tumhaara (2002), Dil Ka Rishta (2003) and Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai (2006) but shifted to action and thriller genres with films like Asambhav (2004), Yakeen (2005) and Chakravyuh. Although Rampal has failed to establish himself as a top-tier hero because of box office flops but has maintained a position in the industry on the basis of his consistent performances that have earned him critical acclaim.

In his decade-spanning career, Rampal has won numerous awards and nominations. He has won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for Rock On!!. He was voted as the most desirable man in the Times Most Desirable Men 2012 online polls conducted by the Indiatimes Group.

Rampal established his production company Chasing Ganesha Films. He became a film producer with I See You (2006) under his banner and played the lead role. Outside of acting, Rampal has been involved in other business ventures. He has launched Lost Festival through association with Percept Limited.

Arjun Rampal was born in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, to Amarjeet Rampal and Gwen Rampal. Arjun along with his sister attended the Kodaikanal International School situated at Palani Hills in Tamil Nadu, where his mother was a teacher. His maternal grandmother is from Holland who got married to his grandfather while he was fighting Japanese invasion at Burma, during the Second World War. They got divorced and his mother brought him up as a single parent. His maternal grandfather, Brigadier Gurdayal Singh, was an army personality, an efficient engineer, he had contributed in making guns for GCF factory situated in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradhesh. The factory has a special gun named after his grandfather. The gun is named ‘Gurdayal Gun.The actor, who turned producer with I See You (2006) says, "Both my paternal and maternal grandfathers were in the army but my maternal grandfather Brigadier Gurdayal Singh designed the first artillery gun for the Indian army post-independence.

Arjun Rampal married former Miss India and supermodel Mehr Jesia and they have two daughters, Mahikaa, born on 17 January 2002 and Myra, born June 2005. He was first spotted by Rohit Bal in a night club who went on to showcase him in his collections and Arjun stayed with him before making a move to Mumbai.

In 2012, Arjun Rampal, in association with Percept Limited launched Lost Festival. Lost' is a music festival driven by culture, tradition & soul.

In 2013, he joined a PETA campaign to ban horse-drawn carriages in Mumbai.
